Shayna has 8+ years of experience investing and has been investing in Crypto since 2018. Before Outshine Ventures, Shayna co-founded Neolution, a liquid token fund, where she created trading strategies and provided consulting services to early-stage Web3 startups. Prior to Neolution, Shayna was a growth-stage startup investor at PeakSpan Capital, a VC firm focused on global B2B SaaS companies. Previously, Shayna was an Investment Banker at Moelis, where she focused on technology M&A and capital raise transactions. She also held investment banking, risk management, and venture capital roles at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, Goldman Sachs, and MetaProp VC. Shayna earned a BA in Economics from Claremont McKenna College as a Robert Day Scholar.

Maria has 13+ years of experience trading equities, options, and forex. She was previously a Principal Investor at an early-stage Web3 VC and has been investing in Crypto since 2018. Before Outshine Ventures, she co-founded Neolution, a liquid token fund, where she developed automated strategies and advised Web3 startups. For 10+ years, Maria held product leadership roles at Bank of America, BlackRock, and was Head of Product for the largest crypto ETP provider in Europe. Maria earned an MBA with a concentration in IT Management and a BS in Systems Engineering with a Minor in Mathematics from UNC Charlotte, as well as certificates in Blockchain Technology, Smart Contracts, and FinTech Law from UC Berkeley and Duke.
